To Make a Donation:

Contributions to the Paterson Friends of the Great Falls, Inc. may be sent to our Executive Director, David Soo, c/o Paterson Friends of the Great Falls, Inc., 13 1/2 Van Houten Street, Paterson, New Jersey, 07505. Such contributions are used for public education and promotional activities concerning the historic district.

Paterson Friends of the Great Falls, Inc. plans to continue its efforts at all fronts to incite interest in the district and to encourage community involvement in the planning and visioning process.  This will enable worthy developments, promote heritage tourism and enhance educational opportunities. This will bring a benefit to all the people of New Jersey.

Specifically, funds are necessary for the following:

• Educational and promotional work to encourage the successful preservation and conservation of the A.T.P Site and the rest of the historic district. An extensive series of collaborations between all interested persons and organizations must occur to ensure the public’s welfare.

• Review of plans, studies, and reports. These reviews must incorporate input from the public at every step of the planning, stabilization, and development stages.

• Attendance to a rigorous schedule of meetings and public hearings.

• Writing letters and reports that generate communication, share progress and allow for regular evaluation.

• Obtain technical expertise and materials to help guide the educational and promotional process.

• Retain legal assistance.
